Interpreting

All our interpreting equipment is regularly updated and complies with European standards.

Booth interpreting (with booths for two or three interpreters)

Booth interpreting (with booths for two or three interpreters) Rooms that do not have simultaneous interpreting booths installed permanently can be fitted with mobile booths which are properly sound-proofed, ventilated and in compliance with European standards. According to the requirements of conferences and your request, we can install 1 to 20 double booths or triple booths (for two or three interpreters, respectively).

We install digital or analogue infra-red interpreting systems, and we supply headsets for the listeners. Every listener has a very light headset with a sound volume control and a translation channel selector switch.

Whispered interpreting (Infoport)

The interpreters are not in a sound-proof booth; they are placed beside the speaker and they whisper the translation into a microphone, and those people who require translation can listen to the translation on receiver headsets. For these purposes, we use the Infoport portable equipment made by Sennheiser, which is provided in a carrying case containing headsets and a microphone. This type of system is used for guided tours, and it is commonly used for translation during site visits and also for translating for small groups of people.

Every participant has a very light headset with a sound volume control. It is possible to interpret for several groups of people of different languages in one same place, at the same time, and without creating interference between groups. The headsets operate with rechargeable batteries that are recharged directly in their carrying case. The microphone can transmit to a large number of receiver headsets. It operates with a battery that is delivered with the carrying case. The complete system is light and easy to use.

Interpreters

With 500 qualified interpreters, we can meet any specific requirements very rapidly. Graduates of ESIT (Ecole Supérieure d'Interprétariat et Traduction), they have at least four years' experience and they work in the strictest confidentiality. Some are sworn translators, and some are members of AIIC (the International Association of Conference Interpreters).

We provide interpreters and translators in numerous different languages, including rare languages. The interpreters and translators are listed according to their specialist fields, such as scientific, legal, financial, etc.

Translation

All our translators are professionals, and they translate all your written documents in the strictest confidentiality, in compliance with the specific requirements of your area of activity. Our translators throughout France and Europe produce work of the highest quality and, where necessary, in record time. The quality of translations is controlled by re-reading and proofreading to check their chosen terminology and consistency.
